So, what's your goal?
I speak to a lot of PDIs that struggle to define what exactly IS a suitable goal, who is supposed to be setting them and how it would benefit the driving lesson process.
A very common misconception is that lesson topics or skills are set as 'goals'.
But you can't 'achieve' a roundabout!
So goals should be based on what your learner would like to be achieve by working on that particular skill or topic.
Goal setting should be an essential part of your every-day lesson planning - without goals, it's very difficult to determine if progress has been made - or not - during the session.
